Hoosier Hills Food Bank's "Plant-A-Row for the Hungry"

Hoosier Hills Food Bank Plant-A-Row

Aikido of Suenaka-ha Indiana will be participating in Hoosier Hills Food Bank's "Plant-A-Row for the Hungry" program for the first time this year.

This allows the students and family of the dojo to give back to the community in a productive way for those who are less fortunate. By providing volunteer services to the community we demonstrate the principles of Aikido beyond the edges of the mat. Participation is voluntary and members are encouraged to help in any way.

Wadokai Events

Winter and Summer Camps

As members of our school and the Wadokai organization, students have the opportunity to study directly with Sensei Suenaka at events which are held throughout the year, including our Winter Camp (Kangeiko) and Summer Camp (Gasshuku).

In addition, students have the opportunity to attend numerous seminars hosted by our member dojos throughout the year. The Bloomington and Wisconsin dojos make a special effort annually to host a joint-training session for the mid-west Wadokai dojos.

Annual Kyu Testing

Kyu testing generally takes place once a year to provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate proficiency in their studies.
